Week 3: Consistency not excitement

A solid week of training this week - turns out it REALLY helps to have someone to train with!

Some quick stats for the week:

  • Total Relative Effort for the week: 158

  • Total Distance for the week: 28km

  • Total Time for the week: 5hrs58m

There was nothing of note this week: the word “solid” describes the training perfectly: no sessions that were overly onerous, none that were especially easy, just a plod of sessions to fill the week. This however should not be read as a negative thing: in fact, to my slight startlement, it was a very pleasurable plod of sessions. Also pleasingly, there are definite improvements in swimming each session in the week over a kilometre. I think there might be slight improvements in the cycling but we will wait till next week to call that!
